SPRING 2016: Overnight Federal Repeal Of Marijuana Prohibition
By Kate Mullen
(Dallas Texas) According to activists, the fight espoused for marijuana legalization is beyond just legalization of a plant, the movement is about personal liberty, citizen involvement with government and the rescue of an economically faltering America.
While the US piles up more debt with no fresh money to pay it, reputable, respected news companies like Forbes.com cite the marijuana business as the hottest startup investment opportunities for 2015.
The profitability of the Green Rush simply cannot be denied.
Not only multi millionaire investors see the value in the marijuana business; but so do the Feds.
While many state governments profess to deny across the board legalization of marijuana; the US government has already recognized marijuana as an industry worthy of support by US Government funds, approves it for the military and knows constitutionally marijuana MUST be legalized.
The illegalization of marijuana was based on bad science. “Dr Sanjay Gupta wrote: “Not because of sound science, but because of its absence, marijuana was classified as a schedule 1 substance” at the urging of Assistant Secretary of Health, Roger Egeberg in 1970. http://www.thedailybell.com/
March 2015, The Feds saw such value in the profitability of owning a marijuana dispensary, the city of Bonneville, Washington was able to apply to obtain federal grant money to open a marijuana dispensary. They did receive funding. http://mmjbusinessdaily.com/
Not constitutionally legal.
Federal EB 5 Green Card Immigrant Investment opportunity also applies to the marijuana business. Writes a noted Finance Strategist, “EB 5 applies, as long as they (the green card immigrant) get their investment back and hires 10 Americans in the process”. It is constitutionally unlawful for one group to have a federally funded economic advantage that is denied the rest of the country. Equal Opportunity under the law.
Congress approved MMJ for military veterans therapeutic use in November 2015.
If Congress says Medical Marijuana is safe to use for our most valued citizens, then it MUST immediately be removed from the Schedule 1 list, as schedule 1 has no medicinal value. Ergo, if marijuana is safe for our military to use, then it is safe for ALL Americans to use.
It is Constitutionally unlawful for something to be legal for some Americans but not for all. Equal protection under the law.
When Medicinal Marijuana comes off the schedule 1 list, the door opens to banking.
The USA is $18 TRILLION in debt to it’s citizens and foreign countries, some sources say the legal marijuana business could initially pull in $3 billion a year and growing. It is constitutionally illegal for the US not to pay its debts, yet currently the US has $18 trillion in debt.
Where will that fresh money to pay debts come from?
Americans now favor marijuana legalization by 83%. So no popular vote in needed.
As Obamacare sputters and fails, Americans desire to use natural means to care for themselves increases: a whopping 74 percent of the American population desires a natural approach to health care.
Lastly, with such disparate laws legalizing CBD oil in some states and full legalization in others, there is no way to fairly prosecute a person for breaking a marijuana related law. Equal protection under the law.
And with the Presidential election just 11 months away, many speculate Obama will repeal prohibition as a last legacy.
In short, just as marriage equality happened “overnight” be prepared for the repeal of marijuana prohibition to happen in the same way.
